A rare item from WW2, a childs gas mask and tin depicting Mickey Mouse.

Tin was made in England and is marked "'Happynak' Series  No. 50 - By Permission Of Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse Ltd.

It was hoped that the use of Mickey Mouse in this way would encourage children to put the mask on in the event of a gas attack.

It is not known how many were made, experts estimate one thousand. Due to the need for metal during war effort these tins are scarce and extremely well sought after.
