The RAF Mk.3C flying helmet were RAF issue from the early 1970's. Designed for fixed wing (Lightening & Hunter) & rotary aircraft. 
The Mk.3C outer shell is made of fibre resinate and superseded the Mk.3B with twin-tint visors.
It continued in service until the 1980's.
 
The electrics have been tested and are fully operational. However, this is being sold as a display item only.
